Meralco Chairman, finalists for the 7th CNBC Asia Business Leaders Awards.

I received this email from a trusted friend a few days ago. He is practically campaigning for the Chairman and CEO of Manila Electric Co. for the distinction of being one of the Business Leaders of Asia.

Well, I have nothing against Mr. Lopez and the fact that he is the only Filipino who made it to the final list of nominees is enough reason to vote for him.

Below is a copy of the email that was sent to me:

Again here is something that we should be proud of. Mr. Manuel M. Lopez has been chosen as one of the finalists for the 7th CNBC Asia Business Leaders Awards. The finalists are 12 Asian business leaders from the original list of 45. Mr. Lopez is practically representing the Philippines
as he is the only Filipino in the elite final list. The winners will be announced during the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on 27 November 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand.

As one of the finalists, Mr. Lopez has also qualified for the Asia Viewers’
Choice Award, which will go to the leader with the highest number of votes.
