MYX Daily Top - July 22, 2011 Featuring “Hate You” by 2NE1

Britney Spears is still dominating the MYX Daily top 10 with her video “I Wanna Go” which has been on the top of the countdown for six days in a row. “Next 2 You” by Chris Brown and Justin Bieber is hovering on the second spot and “Perfection” by Korean boy Band Super Junior is taking over the third spot.

Four local acts managed to enter the countdown with Christian Bautista’s “I’m Already King” and Yeng Constantino’s “Siguro” on the top 4 and 5 places respectively.

2NE1’s “I Am The Best” is at number 6 but the latest single “Hate You” from the Korean girl group is making waves in the YouTube charts. According to a report from AFP, the video was ranked number one in YouTube's "most watched today" chart and number 13 in the "most watched this week" chart.

The video shows the girls (CL, Minzy, Bom and Dara or Sandara as we Filipinos used to call her) in a manga-style animation violently pursuing a fugitive who turns into a giant monster across a futuristic fantasy wasteland. It was uploaded on July 20 and, as of this writing, it now has over 3.7 million views.
