This is going to be my first MYX Daily Top 10 post for 2012 and I sure hope that I can do this on a more regular basis.

It appears that Taylor Swift has started the year right with a new number 1 video on the country's number one music channel. Her video of the new song "Ours" has maintained its lead after stealing the top spot from local band Slapshock yesterday. "Ngayon Na" by Slapshock dropped to the 3rd spot. Another erstwhile number one video, "Habang Buhay" by another local act, BBS Feat. Kean Cipriano secured the 2nd spot.

Meanwhile, two boy bands completed the top 5. "Superman" by South Korean boy band Super Junior captured the 4th spot while British-Irish boy band One Direction stays in the 5th spot.
