Nicole Scherzinger wins "Dancing With the Stars”

Half-Filipina singer Nicole Scherzinger went on to win the Season 10 of the popular TV show “Dancing with the Stars” which many consider as the ABC’s best season yet. The Pussycat Doll singer beats Evan Lysacek for the mirror-balled trophy. The Olympic gold medalist wound up second and sports reporter Erin Andrews trailed in third.

The results might have seemed unsurprising as Scherzinger was the clear front-runner throughout most of the season. She and her partner Derek Hough ended the night with a perfect score of 30 and a total of 115 for the two final nights, Monday and Tuesday.

"Dancing With the Stars" in its 10th season featured contestants including former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, reality TV star Kate Gosselin and one-time Playboy model Pamela Anderson.

Scherzinger was born in Hawaii. Her biological father is a Filipino, and her mother is of Hawaiian and Russian descent.

It was definitely the best season I have seen yet. I am glad she won, I like her so much. I have always thought how beautiful she was when I would watch her with the Pussycat Dolls. I thought the top three were all awesome, and anyone of them could have won.
