Arnel Pineda, featured on the latest issue of GQ

Still on Arnel Pineda’s success and spectacular performance on the “Ellen” talk show that earned him and Journey a standing ovation and praises from the host of the show, Ellen Degeneres herself. This time, the globally-syndicated magazine GQ has Arnel Pineda on its special feature in its latest release.

This only proves the success and achievement this Filipino has reached internationally. Considering that almost a year ago, Pineda was performing in different venues in Manila with his band Zoo.

It was the lead guitarist of Journey Neil Schon who found the videos of Pineda and his band on YouTube doing covers of their song.

“The hair stood up on my arms,” Schon says. “I got up off the computer and told my girlfriend, ‘No way—this guy sounds too good. I don’t believe it.’," was what he told GQ as his reaction after watching Pineda.
