Arnel Pineda with Journey performs on Ellen

Another Filipino made its way to the US Television after the young singer Charice. The band Journey, with our very own Arnel Pineda made their Television debut Wednesday on the Ellen De Generes show singing songs from their new Revelations CD.

It was a couple of months ago when Arnel was "discovered" by Neal Schon, Journey’s guitarist, when the latter saw Arnel and his band Zoo’s interpretation of Journey’s hit, "Faithfully," on YouTube. The band had been going through changes of its own then.

Journey never fully recovered from the departure of Steve Perry, the band’s popular vocalist who left twice, in 1987 and after a brief reunion, in 1996. The band has gone through two other vocalists since then, the last being Jeff Scott Soto, who left the band in June 2007.
